Byron Mauzy was a Californian Piano manufacturer and owner of a San Francisco music shop. In 1916 he signed a deal with a Honolulu maker(?) to produce Ukuleles with his name on for distribution on the mainland. I don't know who the maker was or how long the deal went on for?
