Most Asian countries have the usual international brands available, or occasionally some of the Chinese factory brands that aren't widely available, but sometimes I do see a brand appears is specific to that Asian Country. It is usually a Chinese produced import but web site language often means I can't find out very much about them.

This appears to be a Ukulele only company with headquarters in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, though I think they get the actual work done on the mainland, (the Ukuleles look quite similar to some of the other branded Chinese Ukuleles I have and have seen?) They do a budget line and a couple of standard lines in laminate or solid wood, then they also do what they call their designer range with the inlay designs around the sound hole and Koa Mahogany or Mahogany with a Spruce soundboard. Apart from the budget line, which is only Soprano, they all come as Soprano, Concert or Tenor with some cutaways and pineapples but no extra string options. In 2012 they released a couple of Wanwan themed Sopranos featuring a far eastern cartoon character that I know nothing about

"The Perfect Union between Natty Design and Witty Sound!" Their words not mine and it explains the name; except they had the name before the strapline. The full name of the company is Trendy Nawi and starting in 2006, they distribute a range of laser etched laminate mahogany Sopranos and Concerts. They may also distribute some Kala copies under this brand name too? I have found conflicting information on this
