Paxphil Resonator Concert Ukulele
My Paxphil Resonator
Most Asian countries have the usual international brands available, or occasionally some of the Chinese factory brands that aren't widely available, but sometimes I do see a brand appears is specific to that Asian Country. It is usually a Chinese produced import but web site language often means I can't find out very much about them.

OBong Guitars

OBong Guitars are a South Korean firm who have been about since 1975 and these day the catalogue includes Soprano and Concert Ukuleles in a number of different woods that are made in China. I have seen these on sale in the Philippines and Vietnam, but it always says this is a Korean brand, (though some of the models look suspiciously like they were made in China). One thing to note is the factory fitted strap button on the heel of the neck

Paxphil Co.

Located in Seoul, South Korea, and established in 1994, they seem from the website to be more a luthier supply company than a manufacturer. That said I have seen quite a few completed instrument from them, including Ukuleles, both on their music show stands, (so they may just be demonstration models for the various parts?) and in small distribution outlets, not only in Korea but Taiwan and Vietnam as well so they must have some fully made distribution arm too. From the sound hole label I think the Instrument are actually made in China and with Guitars I have seen them branded Parkinson as well as Paxphil
