Imperial guitars Soprano Ukulele
Imperial Soprano
There are a number of North American importers and retailers who have a range of Ukuleles they import, usually from China, and then brand with their own name. They are usually better than the budget end, (though may include a budget end model) and some can be quite good quality.

Based in Norfolk, Nebraska and founded in 2013 They list Sopranos, Concerts and Tenors in the catalogue and say they are all solid woods apart from the budget Soprano they call Series One (Website has gone so not sure if they are still in business?)

Imperial Guitars

This is a brand from Santa Barbara Guitars, a distributor from Santa Barbara, California that specialise in Weissenborn style Guitars but they say "We like guitars. All kinds of guitars. But we're especially fond of unique and eclectic choices in the guitar world. So in our spare time, which we have plenty of because we are musicians after all, we go out in search of those interesting, cool and/or weird guitars." They have, in the past included Ukuleles in their Catalogue but they don't at the moment

Lucky Penny

Butler Music - a big online shop based in Montana's own brand. Butler Music do shop around in China for the best deals to brand Lucky Penny but this doesn't show greatly in the ones I have seen "in the wild" though. On the website they include some mid range solid topped Ukuleles, out side of the website I have only seen the budget range on sale?
