Hookers Guitars Resonator
There are a number of Australasian importers and retailers who have a range of Ukuleles they import, usually from China, and then brand with their own name. They are usually better than the budget end, (though may include a budget end model) and some can be quite good quality
An importer of Lap Steel and Resonator Instruments from Ocean Shores, NSW, Australia that include a couple of branded, (probably Aiersi) Resonator Ukuleles in their catalogue
Founded in 1946 in Melbourne as an amp maker, they are now a major musical instrument distributor, (but they no longer make things). As well as distributing a raft of famous international brands like aNueNue and Brüko they have a couple of own brands. Oakridge is their own brand for folk instrument and includes the usual selection of DaeWon Banjoleles in it but no wooden Ukuleles Five-0 is a range of colourful budget Sopranos
Palm Beach
I don't know anything about the people who own this brand, I have seen them on sale across Australia and I know they have been on the market since 2012 and maybe earlier? There is a full range of Ukulele scales from Soprano through to Baritone and the look and price suggest that the quality whist better than budget is not top draw. They do, from the branding I have seen, have a budget range of colourful Sopranos they brand as Hula too (This has nothing to do with Saga's Hula range)
