Ralph Bonte Little Hercules
In being on the look out for nice Ukuleles I see the work of a number of full and part time luthiers. The instruments they make look very nice and worthy of note.

Lukáš Sedláček - Sedláček Guitars

From Olomouc, Czech Republic. He studied instrument making for 4 years at the Violin School at Luby, graduating in 2005. He makes mainly custom Guitars but likes to make Mandolins and Archtop Tenor Ukuleles.

Phil Davidson - Davidson Instruments

From Gloucestershire, England. He started out making Banjos in the early 1990's and has added more instruments to is catalogue over the years including Ukuleles in all scales from Soprano through to Baritone, (though I have only ever seen Sopranos?) and Banjoleles. He does some very nice looking inlay work on his headstocks and I have read about him using reclaimed woods and locally harvested woods. He also puts his name, as designer, to a range of Vietnamese made Ukuleles (and other instruments) distributed by Ashbury

Ralph Bonte - Arrenbie Guitars

From Bruges, Belgium, he mainly makes Guitars and has been doing so since the early 1990's. Over the years though He has added other instruments to his catalogue including a Soprano Ukulele he calls the "Little Hercules" He is a member of the American Guild of Luthiers and the Centre for lutherie Belgium where, since 2011 he has also taught Guitar making.
