There are a number of North American importers and retailers who have a range of Ukuleles they import, usually from China, and then brand with their own name. They are usually better than the budget end, (though may include a budget end model) and some can be quite good quality.

Rondo Music

Founded in 1959 and originally starting out as a mail order retailer, (now they have a big online presence as well). They sell all types of musical instruments and accessories from chordophones to wind, plus cases, amps and that sort of thing. The instruments themselves come from all of the usual far eastern factories and are usually at the more budget end of the spectrum. Although they suggest the brands are all different I believe most of them are house brands for Rondo as no one else seems to sell them. Some of the names I have seen are SX, Agile, Douglas, Hadean, Omega, Sprite and Brice. The ones I have seen used on their Ukuleles are Omega for some budget Sopranos and Hadean for some solid and acoustic Uke Basses, and some Guitaleles, (though oddly some of the Guitaleles are branded both Hadean and Omega; and I have seen the Uke Basses referred to as "Omega Hadean") Agile for some steel strung electric Ukuleles, Sprite for some very colourful budget Sopranos, (possibly this isn't a Rondo brand but I've not seen them elsewhere) and SX for some Sopranos the call "Gipsy Rose" and are clearly the same model as Team International make, same decals, same tuners, same strings, (one difference with these is that headstock logo for them is Rock n Rose). SX is also the branding they use on the folk instrument range including Banjos but I haven't seen any Banjoleles (and its not the same SX who branded my Bass).
