European 21st c. small importers/distributors click for more
There are a number of European importers and retailers who have a range of Ukuleles they import, usually from China, and then brand with their own name. They are usually better than the budget end, (though may include a budget end model) and some can be quite good quality
A French Importer of all sorts of instruments and musical equipment. From what I have seen the Ukulele range consisted of two Sopranos and a Concert
Sutherland Trading was originally a Hohner subsidiary, but they are now an independent distribution company who still distribute Hohner in the UK, but also do other brands like Kala and Crafter. Countryman is their "house" brand and whilst it doesn't have any Ukuleles it does have the whole range of rebranded DaeWon Banjoleles and has expanded in 2015 to include a Uke Bass.
Kauai
I can find nothing on this brand except that it has been around since before 2010 and I have only seen them on sale in the UK? From the look of them I would say certainly the cheaper end models were made in in the same factory as Cikuan, the more expensive models may also have been but I far less sure?
